Kris Atomic - Copenhagen

Back in September I spent a few rainy days in Copenhagen. I was there to help my mum with a work thing, but happily got a bit of time to wander around too. Obsessed with all the bikes obviously, but also met a huge number of amazing dogs and ate some great steaks. What more could you want from a city visit?

Also this is my first post with my Canon EOS M, which I got to replace my Fuji X100. I'm beyond head over heels in love with it, it's the most amazing tiny little guy. Will do a proper post about it soon.

We rented this incredible Airbnb which was absolutely huge, but also super cozy and it's kind of a miracle we ever left because I was so ready to move in forever.

Best steak of my life in Copenhagen, and it doesn’t seem to be possible to get a dud airbnb. I’m also absolutely in love with that submerged bicycle image, please consider it if you ever do more photographic prints!

What impressed me much is that you were in such “isolated” hidden places such as the Russian Cementery section in Nørrebro. Few people know about it. amazing work indeed. Congratulations !

I went to Southern Sweden a few years ago and spent a day in Copenhagen. The city is beautiful. So old world but at the same time modern.

I scrolled through these twice, they’re so good. 1. I love when you’re in the photos coz you’re so lovely & 2. The girl you think might be a fashion blogger…the old dude holding her bag, so cute! 3. Your fringe has been added to my list of prayer intentions… ha ha.

Emille replied about 9 years ago.

Great pics.

Was this with the 22mm kit lens?

Was it shot raw and edited in post? I like the color. I know there was some kind of post processing because I have the same camera lol. I’ve never been into doing post, but want to start. How can I achieve that feel/color/filter or however you want to call it, like yours?

Thanks

geno replied almost 9 years ago.

Hey Geno,

Sorry for the late reply, I missed this comment.
Yep it’s the 22mm, such a beautiful little lens! I always shoot and edit from RAW using VSCO presets in Lightroom (and then some manual tweaks of course).

Hope that helps,
Kris
