Nice Kris, really nice. Making me thinking of getting the X100 (been holding out to save for a Leica, but these images are pretty persuasive). Love it, loved to see more. :)

I love the DoF in your photos – sometimes my brain gets a bit confused at first and thinks the landscapes are actually photos of miniature model villages! Haha. xo

utterly beautiful photos! the first few especially make it look like a toy town, a miniature silent landscape, so cool!

These are gorgeous. I know you use Photoshop to post process, but you always manage to capture perfect light in all your photos – how??
Amelia replied over 10 years ago.
Thank you Amelia!
I actually use Adobe Lightroom for most of my editing these days (though that doesn’t make much difference to how the images look it’s just a faster workflow for RAW files).
Regarding light, it’s tricky to answer but I guess it’s a mix between editing and picture selection. I generally like a certain look to my images and I wouldn’t post something that didn’t look pleasing to me. Editing-wise, I shoot manual so settings really vary with conditions, but I tend to underexpose and pull up in the edit because I hate blowing out highlights. I also tend to go for warmer colour/white balance and bright yellows and reds.
I hope that helps a little?!
