Incredible! Thank you for sharing! I love the close shots. Painting is so much about texture.

Soooo inspirational, and must say, usually when people post about exhibitions and art galleries it just ends up looking like a bunch of glazed frames but these shots are fantastic.

Wow, I think I might have found a new favorite – those Derain pieces are insane with the contrasting hard and soft lines. Don’t know if I’ve ever seen one of his pieces before, and I always hit up the museums! Of course, I haven’t been to Paris yet. :) Thank you so much for sharing!

Ohmygoodness, thank you so much for sharing. This post is making me ache for Paris. I haven’t been for 3 years, and know that I need to go back within the next year to visit my dear, aging grandfather. But of course, I can’t keep away from all of the museums (the Musee d’Orsay is my favorite). Have you ever visited the Musee de la Mode?

Thank you so much for sharing! I love the work, I wonder in what museum you were… I love the works of Matisse and Renoir! I’m visiting Paris in spring 2012, I hope the exhibition you saw will still be there by then.

These are amazing.
You are bringing Paris back to me. I lived there and you started with Marais where was my house and now I can recall the museums.
The Moneyt nympheas…
Thank you.
I have to publish at least the Monet because that experience is printed in my memory.
