Louise Brooks from memory
04 June 11
Another Brushes ipad drawing. I don't think I've ever drawn anything fully in black and white before? Normally I love colour, but this was kind of fun.
Full disclosure: I upped the contrast afterwards because the ipad makes everything look really great, but it looked flat on my monitor.

I played around with my coworker’s ipad brushes application the other day and had too much fun mixing color. The Louise drawing turned out really sweet!

Wow!! Gorgeous!! Now I want an iPad even more. Uh, thanks. Haha ;) So is it a special drawing app for the iPad or a standard preloaded thing? And is it drawing with your fingers or a stylus? I’m so curious!! I love using odosketch to draw and this reminds me of that.

I love your creativity so much! I am sure you are such an inspiration for many!
I have one question, do you get your work to look shiny through the computer? Do you add a filter or just by setting the opacity right?
