This was the first thing I drew back in December when I got my 27" imac. The novelty of having 12GB of RAM still hasn't worn off, I'm loving scanning drawings in at insane sizes and working super big. The hi-res of this ones is 4268 × 5424 pixels! Bigger is better.

hi! i love your illustrations and they look so great! as someone who does a lot of scanning for artwork i was just wondering what type of scanner you had since this looked great. I was also just curious as to what you do by hand and what you do on the computer. Thanks!

it’s great, I’m really happy with it.
For this one, I just scanned in the sketch below and then worked on top of it in Photoshop using my graphics tablet.
