I got a review copy of Fifi Lapin's What Shall I Wear Today so I thought I'd show you guys a sneak peek inside. The book is split by days of the week, as Fifi discusses her fashion choices and gives advice on dressing for different occasions. There are make-up tips, recipes and interviews with designers, but as expected the illustrations take centre stage. Adorable!

Oh man, this book looks so frickin’ cute I can’t even stand it!! That said…am I he only one who kinda shudders at that Budmo Jiggler font for the cover? Just makes me think of cheesy blogs headers…but still, the cuteness!!!

@Banana I was thinking the same thing! Not a fan of that font.

Nonetheless, this might be the cutest book I’ve seen in years. But I wish Fifi would update her print store soon, since I’d rather have something I can look at every day on my wall than a book on my book shelf filled with images I’ll probably only flip through once or twice a year…

I agree about the font, why not use Fifi handwriting?! – that said the illustrations are beautiful as always!

As far as I understand, publishers avoid using hand written type as it makes it difficult to translate for foreign markets. But I know what you mean, I’m not that into some of the fonts either! x

I just love hand written/made up fonts – especially ones that you will never see anywhere else!

And I’m totally getting this book! I’ve been fondling typeface books for a couple of months now, but I never saw one that really spoke to me the way this one does. I guess that means I’m a sucker for handwritten types too :)

WOW. I didn’t expect the book to be so great, I was expecting something like its only the cover. But its content seems to amaze me! I love the illustrations indeed and the little commentary.. The colours aren’t even an eyesore. :D
