Nice part 2
10 May 10
In which we thought the apocalypse was coming and (because we watch too many movies) trekked to higher ground in case there was a tsunami. To be fair, the Colline du Chateau has amazing views and was well worth the walk. But still, scary!
(don't make fun of Cara's ridiculous patriotic BNP umbrella, she bought it by accident!)

I like her umbrella! Great shots. Yeah, getting pebbledashed by that beach would hurt.

This reminded me of when I was on holiday in lake bracciano in Italy and there was a big storm on the last night and our power went – we thought the world was going to end! Plus we couldn’t get a signal on our phones, we felt so cut off from the outside world!

Great pictures…
Ps for future reference, if there actually was a tsunami coming, you’d have no idea…thats what makes it so scary. :(

Haha, yeah we knew that, we’re just quite dramatic! Apparently the tide sometimes goes right out before a tsunami also? So scary! x

Yep. I’ve become a unofficial expert after having to deal with the ones that followed the 8,8 quake we suffered in Chile.

is the umbrella actually some kind of BNP merchandise or just hilariously patriotic? i’m kinda in love with it (i feel like repping the UK isn’t totally tacky when you live in another country) so i’m hoping it’s not an accidentally pseudo racist brolly xo

Haha, no it’s from Accessorize! When it’s closed you can’t tell it’s a union jack, she thought it was a generic floral pattern. Quite funny! x
