Not just for the boys

25 March 10

Pretty much everyone who knows me, knows I'm a fiend for knitwear (especially the patterned cheesy christmas jumper kind), so Sibling's knitwear for guys has got me swooning. In particular, I'm dying over the lime green leather elbow patches. I love elbow patches!

and I mean, this is just insane. Insane awesome.

So, I thought these looked familiar, then I realised — Sibling featured in an exhibition of machine knitwear in Melbourne last month, at the RMIT’s (it’s like a technical school, I guess?) art gallery. They are insanely rad, and it was fun to see them in a room with all sorts of other crazy futuristic knitwear. Exibitiion infos are here [http://www.rmit.edu.au/browse;ID=ukv51cxh9odb]; I just wrote a review (of sorts) of the exhibition here [http://aramblingmeels.blogspot.com/2010/03/art-after-fact-1-endless-garment-at.html]

Social zombie sweater is the clear winner for me!
