Did you go to the level? There was a HUGE snowball fight, epic levels you wouldn’t believe. Wish I went to the seafront it looks beautiful, gorgeous pictures!

I cannot get over how beautiful these photographs are -he first photo and the photo of the lamps in front of the sea are my favorites but of course they’re all amazing. Also, I’m completely jealous of your weather – here in Texas it was probably around 60°F.
catherine replied almost 10 years ago.
thank you! I’m quite sick of winter now though, once all the snow melted it just became depressing… the endless cold and rain! x

I feel like there is very little I love more than a real-life icicle. Great photos, as always – can’t wait for the snow to hit Bridgetown (I say this now and will likely be moaning later!).

Your photos are beautiful! I can’t imagine what it would be like to spend the day amongst so much snow and at the seaside too. I live in New Zealand and it snows very little accept in the mountains. I hope you got some gingerbread. x

Beautiful pictures. I love the subtle vignette effect! Is that from the lens hood?
cam replied almost 10 years ago.
Thank you! The vignetting is just from the wide aperture, most of these are shot at about 1.4-1.8. I don’t use any hoods or filters or anything, I’m pretty low maintenance in that respect! x
Wonderful! Quite strange seeing Brighton in the snow as am so used to the summertime images!
Laura replied almost 10 years ago.
the pic of the people on the snowy beach reminds me a little of the movie ‘eternal sunshine of the spotless mind’ – really beautiful pictures!

Great! Your fotos are like a christmas fairy tale!
ka replied almost 10 years ago.
Brighton looks like a Christmas fairy tale! So beautiful, and I love all the details you photograph. Here in Sweden the snow goes up to my knees, and my dog gets stuck in it all the time.
Antonia replied almost 10 years ago.
Aw I’ve never been to Brighton in winter, only on sticky summer days, so it’s really interesting to see it in it’s snow outfit! Such beautiful photographs, all the colours contrasting with the white are lovely. x

Lorna replied almost 10 years ago.
Ah, sorry I didn’t reply in time! I had the flu over christmas/NYE so I spent it in bed! Hope you did something fun though! x
How beautiful! The mood of all these photos is so wintry, yet so cozy. I especially love the Pavillion and the leaping pup :)

This is so enchanting, so charming. These pictures make me feel all “Christmas-y” inside.
Brighton looks absolutely gorgeous in the snow. And that “Snow dog” bounding about in a winter coat is absolutely adorable! I love “snow dogs” (dogs that LOVE the snow). Mine is a snow Bear.
