What a tourist
06 October 09
If you've been following me on twitter you might know that I moved to Brighton a couple of weeks ago. I think I can legitimately take cheesy touristy photos of the pier, seagulls and other seaside paraphernalia for at least another week, right? I've never lived by the coast before and the light was so great, I couldn't resist!

Oh man. I’m so jealous! I lived at the coast for 3 1/2 years and now that I’ve moved away, it seems like everyone I know is moving to some coast or another. I really miss it… look forward to living vicariously through your photos!

When the result looks like this you’re Definitely allowed to take as many cheesy touristy photos as you’d like! I love that first one.

I think nearly all coastal towns are really photogenic. I love them! Although in winter they’re freezing!

They’re beautiful photos. I think the fact that you live there means you’re a “real” photographer and not just a tourist! So keep taking photos for as long as you want! ;)

I love Brighton. In a previous life I was a Londoner for 7 yrs and we had a few Brighton weekends. My boyfriend and I once stayed at this wonderfully tacky Brighton hotel. It had golden flamingo taps in the bath and pink marble everywhere. I love it there, especially the pier and the pavillion. It’s so exotic to me. Well, I am a proper tourist!

I’ve lived in Brighton for a year now and I still like taking cliché photos and doing all the touristy things. How are you liking living here so far?

It’s a pretty photogenic place, to be fair! I really like it here so far. It’s so different to london! I didn’t really expect that. But in a good way! x
