Snow day in London
03 February 09
It started yesterday afternoon when the sky was the most amazing colour...
which turned in to a bit of snow in the evening...
and by morning it was a full-on snow day!

white and snowy. yummy. amazing sky and unbelievable white hair of yours. as well as this turquoise hat. as always delicious photos. and a snowman with real coal buttons, so oldschool! hope that you won’t freeze there. i’ve heard that almost only polish people made to get to work yesterday. we are used to that kind of weather, but actually i miss real snow. we havent had that in weeks! hugs and kisses

Your pictures are beautiful…
It is snowing here as well and I’m watching it through the window, listening to Puccini as sung by Andrea Bocelli. It’s oddly appropriate.
I <3 snow !

Absolutely stunning photos!!!
My sister rang me (from London) to say it snowed, all buses/trains/everything stopped, and she didn’t have to go to work, it was like being sent home early from school. What fun! Wish they’d do the same here, as it was well over 40 degrees all week last week…reached 46 at some stage!

Oh dear. These photos are making me absolutely squirm! You guys look so cute all bundled up. I’m in Thailand right now and, though it’s wonderful here I’m certainly not one for hot weather. Hopefully the snow days continue and I can live vicariously through your experiences with cold weather :)
Also, the shot of the bird flapping its wings is amazing. Is that taken with a 50mm lens? It looks telephoto and is confusing my brain.

My sister also called me to say that it was snowing! It was really good untill I took a look outside my own window and see nothing but rain… Somehow I love living in the South of France, but in this case I’d diiiiie to see snow from my window! Elodie. xx

this looks so beautiful. and magical… I’m very jealous! it snowed where I lived when I was little, but never in Sydney :( we just get heatwaves in summer and drizzly boring rain in winter.

What beautiful photos, if only mine were half as good! I love the contrast of the grey and white with the smattering of colour…that night street scene has to be my favorite though, so cinematic :)
