These are sections of paintings from various Russian museums. As usual I'm very into pearls, lace, feathers, patterned fabrics, brooches and military regalia.

Oh wow! The detailing on the clothes is exquisite. I am always impressed that people had such patience whilst painting (and in fact whilst making the clothes in the paintings) – I know I could never do it!

Kris, I saw your items on your shop, I loved them all, but alas, I’m a poor college student who cant afford any of them :( Anyway, just wanted to say that they are gorgeous and all the best to you!
Maybe one day I can afford it ;)

These are amazing. I adore classic art. I would love to go to a costume ball with this theme

I’m late to comment here, but these are so gorgeous and inspirational. Where were these photos taken???

Oh duh, sorry “taken at various Rusian museums.” Do you know if you’d be allowed to make any of these into prints??

Who painted these? Where are the originals?

Alice replied over 13 years ago.

At The Tretyakov and The Hermitage in Russia, I didn’t write down the individual artists. Sorry! x
