All Tomorrow's Plaid
20 May 08
I just got back from ATP at Butlins over the weekend. Andrew was there for work and I was keen on the whole Butlins/seaside fun aspect, though it's not my kind of music at all. We did have a nice time regardess, spotting checked shirts and dodgy facial hair, eating the most terrible unhealthy foods, walking on the beach and meeting Billy the Butlins Bear.

Do you use some kind of awesome camera? Your photos are so crisp.

The photo of the ice-cream makes me want to go to that plaid’s convention!
Your shoes are lovely.

Flats ‘n’ stockings at the beach?! How do you do it? I live on the coast and always manage to ruin a good pair if I even think of attempting to look that darling in the sand!

Ahh ATP definitely is my kind of music, so I’m jealous as I couldn’t afford a ticket when all my friends were getting theirs :(. Also, the guy in the first photo with his back to the camera looks very much like my friend Ed, who was there so it might possibly be! I’m afraid my friendship group is made up mostly by obscure music liking boys with dodgy facial hair and checked shirts:)

Karen – there’s really no big secret. I shoot with a canon 5d and 50mm 1.4 canon lens. I edit curves and white balance in RAW using Digital Photo Professional. In photoshop I adjust curves/levels if need be, or play with saturation and colour balance. Resize, then re-sharpen. Done!

Kim – my shoes were full of sand afterwards and STILL are, so I have absolutely no advice on that front :P
