Me too! And scary, I have almost the exact same running outfit as the girl in your picture :) It’s amazing how just a few sessions of going really hard core with your running will get you back in the zone. And it really clears your head of all the cobwebs too, so more creative ideas can come flooding in! Great blog, love it :)
Lovely painting of you! I found a website that suggested the following for starting a running routine: 1st week: run 1 min, walk 4 mins, 4 times (20 mins); 2nd week, run 2 mins, walk 3; 3rd week, run 3 mins, walk 2; etc, until you can run 20 mins w/out stopping. I just started and it’s not so bad, so far… :)
thank you!
I did that when I first started running, couch to 5k right? www.c25k.com IT SO WORKS.
I took a break from running for a while so now I just kind of run until I can’t, then walk for a couple of minutes, then run again! x
Ohh good for you!
Ever see that youtube video of Will Smith talking about how reading and running are the keys to life? Little corny, little inspirational.
I’m in love with your art. Absolutely in love! I just started running a couple of months ago, and I’m training for a 5K in October. Please put prints of these on etsy so I can beautify my house with them!
Hey! Me too! I started running every morning with my momma :D I first walk a few rounds, then speed up some – & finally run till I can’t for one round. That’s my program for this first week, later I will increase the run-till-I-can’t part a little bit more…
You’ve inspired me to draw one picture for everyday! I’m so happy! I adore your work, much love.
Hi! I looooove your blog and your drawings! I wanted to let you know that I used this image to illustrate my blog entry of today as it describes my day PERFECTLY!! I guess we all “just start running again” at some point or other, no?
You can see your drawing here: http://journal-de-petits-details.blogspot.com/2008/12/total-abandonment.html

Haha, me too. It is a little painful though, to run for the first time in a while…

Me too, and although it’s kind of sad to see how much I’ve slowed down, it’s wonderful to feel fresh air pushing through your lungs after a long time.

Uuuugh. Thats my goal for next week…WORKOUT. My drawing will look like a girl passed out on the floor, in a puddle of sweat… Sweet.
