Jacobs by Marc Jacobs for Marc by Marc Jacobs

15 September 07

I was following the NY fashion week coverage in blogs and style.com, but it was completely dull and I lost interest towards the end. I perked up at Marc by Marc Jacobs though! It's very pretty and spring-y. It's also very stewardess via Chloe from a couple of seasons ago. A+ all round basically.

I also loved Proenza Schouler, but I'm too sleepy to make snappy accompanying images.

style.com is my drug during fashion week. i’ve been working so many long hours
i haven’t been able to keep up as well as i usually do, but i wouldn’t miss marc’s
show. it was fun like he always is. i think the guys fared a bit better this time around

i’m trawling style right now but i know i really can’t wait to catch up on the sartorialist.
i love how scott goes into overdrive during the different fashion weeks.

I LOVE that first dress in the second row! Ugh, I wish it was affordable :(

Proenza Schouler is the best so far, I liked some of Anna Sui, Marc by Marc and L.A.M.B. as well; but what was mainline Marc Jacobs all about?! Awful!

Berry – the MJ guys stuff was really nice, you’re right.

Lauren – I bet H&M will do a nice copy of it though ;)

Blair – I still haven’t decided what I think of the main line! It was kind of simultaneously stupid, ugly, funny and a bit genius!
Looking forward to Paris.

The MJ title/subject line is a bit ridiculous.
I love the 2nd/3rd/last dresses though. Pfft, if only I was a fashion designer/tailor.
