A day in the life of…

Saturday, June 21st, 2008

Today is flickr’s “Day in the life of…” day. The premise is basically to document your day, upload to flickr and share the five best images with the group. The (optional) theme today was “green”. So here are my five and there are a few more on my flickr.
Today I went to the shops and bought suncream (spf 50), bread, tomatoes and cucumber. It was all ludicrously expensive, as everything here is. Made an excellent sandwich for lunch. In the afternoon I did some illustration business and listened to the new Girl Talk which is amazing, then went for a walk with Andrew and got chased through the woods by a squirrel. Just now we watched Fool’s Gold which was so horrible that I can’t even be bothered to link to its imdb. Don’t watch it, it’s really bad.

Oh yes, I’m still a bit obsessed with bunting. This is another painting I did for the Utopia series, but lately I’ve been shoving in a bit of bunting anywhere I can. From my sketchbook, to an irl garden party for my grandma’s 80th birthday, nowhere is safe.
This also reminded me of these photos that I took while speeding past on a train to Zurich back in march. I never posted them at the time so here they are. Alas, slightly out of season.
