I'm Kristina and I live by the sea in Brighton and work as a freelance illustrator. I dig cats, sequins, the internet, Nancy Mitford, cream teas, the Pre-Raphaelites and naps among other things.

I currently use a Canon 5d mkii (and 50mm f/1.2, 135mm f/2.0, 24mm f/1.4 lenses) or a Fuji X100. Click on a camera below to view photos taken with it.

Love it Kris! I’m so into Hipstamatic at the moment. I took loads of photos in Paris with it and some came out great. It’s such an easy/great way to document. Love the photos of Ms. Matilda, looking fierce as usual. x

I’m also enjoying playing around with PictureShow, which gives you a bit more freedom with the editing. Maybe give that a go as well! x

You just reminded me of how much I love Brighton. I’m considering applying to do my Phd there. How are you finding it so far? Would you recommend it?

I love how these are grouped…like the color schemes are all paired with their matches (accident or on purpose?). Square formats also rock.

Excellent photos :) When I see you taking such nice photos with iPhone, I can only think that I can’t blame my little point and shoot camera for blah photos anymore :) And I have a totally photo unrelated question- where is the yellow bag from? I love it!

The yellow satchel is from the cambridge satchel company, I also own the yellow one with my initials on it! ^^ (and currently DIY-ing a white one!)

Such wonderful shots! My favourites would have to be of Miss Matilda, meow! :D Hipstamatic is so much fun to use, but my sister and boyfriend say I wasted good money on a really useless app… so not true! By the way, this is probably a really daft question, but do your Hipstamatic pictures show up in Finder when you plug your iPhone into your computer? Mine don’t show up at all, so I can’t transfer them to my computer and I have to email them from my iPhone to myself constantly. :( How do you manage to transfer yours?

Haha my boyfriend absolutely despises Hipstamatic! He’s really against the faux-whimsy, but I’m like, whatever, it’s fun :D
Just plug it in as normal, go to Finder > Applications > Image Capture and you can download them from there. Let me know if you have any problems! x
