Finally, a new front page image for my site. I went for a bit of a summer holiday theme, to make up for the fact that I’m not going away anywhere myself. The cat on a leash is but a pipe dream though (Matilda refuses to tolerate it)!

I am DYING!!! I am so in love with this drawing, AND THE COLORS! Just beautiful. Absolutely beautiful and so much fun.
Will you make a version of this to sell in your shop? If you do please, please, please keep the brown girl with the soft pink hair – that’s me.

Haha, my apologies, I thought that might happen ;)

Aww. I hear ya. Felix always does that backwards army crawl when I try and leash him!
The colors on this illustration are so great– and so appropriate! They remind me of candies and lemonades and all those yummy summer treats.

fantastico..like these so awesomely indeed

Love the personality in each of the girls. My favorite is definitely the one with bright pink bangs, wish I could pull that look off!

As a new reader to your blog, I’m so happy to find out you are such a fantastic illustrator. I’d love to see your sketches featured on your blog more often, you have a ton of talent!

Ahh, I love this illustration so immensely. The color scheme is excellent, and I want to go along on this summer holiday with these girls.

Ah that is so lovely!!!

This is lovely, very summery. My cat also refuses to wear one of those body leashes, but I walk her using a normal neck leash, it took her a while to get used to it but now she wont leave the house without one XD

So lovely, Kris. So lovely!

Really lovely! Good work.
We have a leash for Moses. He wears it sometimes, but he’s a pretty small cat (he’s a 18 months old, but still looks like a little kitten), so it’s still a bit big on him so I don’t trust it fully. I really want to take him to the beach with it on, but I’m afraid people will look at me like “That’s a CAT”. :(

The only times Matilda has even let me get the leash on her, she just rolled over and refused to walk! Quite funny actually.
If I saw someone walking a cat I would be like “That’s a CAT! :’D”, do it! xx

Gorgeous! I love the high waisted pants the pink haired lady is wearing. And the cat is just too cute, I wish mine would allow it.
