Wow, that Lanvin coat really resembles a coat my daughter designed for her senior collection, same color. Her blog is on my blog roll, ‘fashion forestry”.
I just discovered this girls blog and thought you might be interested in taking a look. She does a day to day of what she’s wearing with her own illustrations as well as photographs. Still loving your work as ever! http://www.xiaoxizhang.com/
i’m so in love with the full skirt on this little number, both original coat and illustration!
p.s. i’ve been following your work for quite a while and this is my first comment so – hi! you rule! your stuff is so consistently great, i absolutely love it.
I'm Kristina and I live by the sea in Brighton and work as a freelance illustrator (I also shoot weddings). I dig cats, sequins, the internet, Nancy Mitford, cream teas, the Pre-Raphaelites and naps among other things.
This blog is a medley of drawings, photos and anything else I find pleasing to the eye.

1. Lanvin always makes me think of Tilda Swinton!
2. That colour combo is so very cherry chocolate!
And that’s enough of making random associations tonight!

The texture of the dress is perfect! I also like the way you’ve done the shadows on the bodice.
