Pretty pleased with myself today, my portfolio site is finally finished! I’ve been working on it (with endless help from Andrew) for ages so I’m psyched to have it done. Can’t wait to work on new drawings now, making websites is such a snoozefest.
There are tons of photos up there that I’ve never posted before too, e.g. the below.
Let me know what you think!

FIERCEEEEE KRIS. I’m enjoying it very much. Good job old chap! x

YAAAYYY! Finally!
I’m constantly waiting for new posts of yours! Your pictures always make me feel really cozy and homely. You have a special talent for making the most ordinary things, like a building or rainy afternoon, extraordinary beautiful – gotta love that! ;D

I love your site. The colours are crisp and beautiful. I especially love the sketchbook.
As for the photos they are all amazing, but the last one (of the buildings) is outstanding. It really takes you there.

Kris, do you do a lot of post-production colour and vignette work in Photoshop, or are those all faithful to the original shots? Not judging you, but I am very curious to know how you get such beautiful pictures if it’s not post-production. :) What camera are you shooting with?

Hey Ian,
I do a bit of colour/contrast/cropping/resizing/sharpening editing, but the vignetting is actually from the lens. I use a canon 5d with a 50mm 1.4 lens most of the time. The above pictures are pretty faithful to the out-of-camera images I’d say?

Nice work. I wanted to be critical, but the form, function and content are perfect in my eyes.
Ooh, found one tiny little niggling issue. I’d be a touch happier if the photos/images were to load one image further along than they currently do. But they do load quickly, barely an issue at all.
Oh, and browsing in Opera there is no scroll bar for the Moscow photos.
Sorry to be such a nay sayer. It really is a beautiful site!
