Keeping busy and decluttering

August 25th, 2008

It’s been a slow week on the blog since I’ve done nothing productive or aesthetically pleasing. I have spent all my time selling stuff on ebay though – taking photos, writing descriptions, answering questions. Now my auctions are ending and I have to start wrapping stuff and queuing for hours at the post office. It all takes me forever! I don’t know how professional ebay sellers do it. If any of you are interested, here is my ebay link (all sizes are UK not US btw). I’m completely sick of everything I own so I’m going to put up lots more stuff in the coming week. I’m also selling some things for my mum (who I get my hoarding tendencies from).

For those that asked about the plates and prints – I’m going to sell them on my etsy shop in a week or so. I’m still organising a few things, ordering prints and faffing about with plates in the oven. Soon though!

I wish we had the same shoe size! I would buy those diamond-bow stilettos in an instant! Somehow, I don’t think you’ll have any problem selling these, let alone any of your other wonderful hoardings :)

I remember when I first sold a few items on Ebay, it was exciting and like playing shop, but then I listed over 30 items on the same day, which was fine until they all ended at the same time later in the week and everything got so complicated with who paid for what and making sure I wrote the right address on the thing I just wrapped! Wow, stress!

    Have fun! :D

And I live near you! Weird. (I just moved to Twickenham from Australia about 3 months ago.)

Oooh, I’d take those bow heels off your hands in a flash if they were only my size!

My husband shoots with a 5D, too, and seems to be considering erecting an altar in its honor.

My heart is nearly broken that those shoes aren’t in my size.

This is random, but have you ever done a post about wardrobe essentials? Or something like that? Have you ever taken a pic of your closet? I’d love to see….

I guess I could run a search on your blog before asking. I am lazy.

I think they’re pretty true to size. They fit me fine and I’m a consistent 7 in Office. x

Your stuff is beautiful! Unfortunately, the shoes are too big, but I can’t recall how the clothes convert in sizing. I had thought that UK 12 was about a US6 or 8… is this true? As I read somewhere else UK 12 is US 10 and that doesn’t seem to jive with the last time I shopped in London. Any ideas as i would LOVE to snag up some of your tops!
