I’m totally in love with Flat Vernacular, a collaboration between Brooklyn based artists Payton Cosell Turner and Brian Kaspr. The wallpaper above called “Too much stuff”could even be used as an irl version of Little Things for ipad, which particularly pleases me.
I originally discovered Flat Vernacular via Payton’s personal work, where I fell for her custom sticker “wallpapers”. Major why didn’t I think of THAT moment, right there. So clever and fun! I mean, everyone loves stickers right? When I was 9ish our whole school was sticker crazy, so I’m sure I’m not the only one who has fond memories of sticker collecting (and all the arbitrary rules for why some stickers were more desirable, like if they had coloured backs or were fuzzy or holographic naturally).
Anyway, Flat Vernacular officially launches in may, but they’re selling an excellent selection of wallpapers and custom sticker pieces on their site already.
All images from Flat Vernacular, apart from the last from Payton.

I think this is quite possibly the cutest wall paper I’ve ever seen. I like the incongruous elements of each design. If I have a kid, I wouldn’t mind wallpapering his/her room in this.
