I finally went to the V&A to see the Out of the Ordinary: Spectacular Craft exhibition. It’s super tiny, but really nice. My favourite (everyone’s favourite I think!) was Anne Wilson’s Topologies. The webs of lace and netting and threads are miniscule, it’s so intricate and beautiful. I love that it looks like tiny landscapes.

Wow, those are lovely. :)

Those are spectacular! I learned how to make handmade lace as a teenager and loved the slow, methodical process – it’s definitely time consuming though! Do you remember how big the pieces were?

Thank you so much for these, I have been hoping someone would have taken photos, since I was camera-less when I visited the work.
