Kris Atomic Ashish SS15

Ashiiiiiiish. Always one of my favorite shows to shoot and this season I got to do backstage which perked me right up (which on day 5 of fashion week, is saying a lot). I ran out to front of house and ended up crouching (the glamour of fashion) right next to two girls who were equally obsessed. As every look came out they were exclaiming YAS! YAAAAAAAS! in the style of yas gaga, which is a flawless review of the collection if you ask me. YAAAAAS ASHISH, YAS.

Kris Atomic The Apartment

One of my favourite things at the end of an illustration job is seeing my drawings on stuff. When you work almost exclusively with digital files, it’s really fun and exciting to see them applied to real tangible objects, out there in the world. In my 3rd season of working with Abi of The Apartment for LFW, the stuff just keeps getting better. In one year we’ve escalated from water bottles to freaking cars (and tote bags and umbrellas!). A mini fleet of Hyundais that were used to ferry bloggers between shows during London Fashion Week and saved my butt getting home when the trains weren’t running in bad weather.

Problem is, at this rate I’m expecting blimps and double decker buses next season. Yo Abi, you’ve created a monster!Kris Atomic The Apartment
